Inception Review

My husband and I went and saw Inception a couple weeks ago. I wasn't really sure I wanted to see it. I didn't know what it was about and I, of course, couldn't find any information on it on the internet.

Without giving anything away, Inception is about the process of going into someone's dream and finding out their darkest secrets, stealing idea's or information. This process is called "extraction" The other side of this is going into someone's dream and planting an idea. This is called "inception". So that is basically what this movie is about, planting the idea. Leonardo Dicaprio assembles a team to plant an idea into the dream of a man whose father just passed away - it involves how he should break up his fathers company.

The movie is really beautifully done. Some of the scenes are totally amazing. Most of the scenes actually, are amazing. Some crazy things happen, things float, people float, and it ends with a little mystery.

One of the main stars is Leonardo. Yum. He has been making very good movies lately. This movie, The Departed, Blood Diamond - he has really come a long way from Growing Pains. I actually think he is a really great actor now - I wasn't a super huge fan before. He is really grown up and mature, and of course, not terrible to look at. He does a really awesome job in this movie. Really. Awesome.

Next is Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Yes, the kid from 3rd Rock from the Sun. Of course, he has done a lot since then, but that is what a lot of people know him from. He is a good little actor, and totally adorable. I would have to say he is one of my top five celebrity crushes. He would be on my "list". My laminated list even. Love him.

Of course, Marion Cotillard. I love her! She would be on my laminated list as well. She is definitely a girl crush for me. The first thing I ever saw her in was Nine, and I totally loved her then. She cannot get any better, and is awesome in this movie.

In general, this movie is awesome. I think everyone should see it! The movie is long, but it moves along quickly. You don't even realize how long it actually is. It keeps you interested the entire time, and the storyline and plot is amazing. Really, really you HAVE to see it! I highly recommend it!!
