New Moon - Old Lady

Ok, I just re-read my last post. I really am an old woman...
I don't SWOON when Jacob takes off his shirt - I giggle because - wow - that was REALLY fast!! AND - he is 17 years old - and he LOOKS like he's 17 years old... that doesn't make me swoon.
I don't SWOON when I see Edward. I find him a boring actor, and his facial expressions are hysterical - he looks constipated 99% of the time.
I DO think that telling young girls that they can't live without a man - and need to hurt themselves to get attention is bad... and the fact that a woman older than me wrote these books - should know that that is not appropriate.
Yes.. I'm old...
I did love the wolves - they were VERY cool, and they were REALLY well done in the movie. I was kind of worried about that.
The Volturi - AWESOME!!! They were really well acted - the makeup was AWESOME.
Don't get me wrong - I liked the books, I like the movies, and I think they are great for un-impressionable girls/woman.

  1. The Volturi makeup on Dakota Fanning was probably my fave part of the movie... Aside from my beloved Rpattz! :) And I might have swooned just a tiny bit when Jacob ripped off that shirt. And then I reminded myself that he was an underage baby and got over it. Of course, I then repeated the process every time he was shirtless. Oh well. What can you do? :)

  2. Omfg Jacob is so hot! I lost my breath when he took it off! It was sooo unexpected I was like woah. I didnt like the movies AT ALL, I hate Rob Patterson in it, and dont like Kristen steward either, I mean they both look the part, but just the way they do stuff! Like Kristen sounded like she was having an orgy when she wanted to kiss him! So weird!!! Ive read the books, and LOVED those. I wouldnt put them down. In the last book I thought it got a tad silly.. Itll be weird to watch how they play it out in the movie!!! They sure do have their work cut out for them!! Ill def be going to see ALL the movies, even though I didnt LOVE the first 2.. x
