'Tis the season ladies and gentlemen....
Is everyone ready for the Christmas season?
I feel like I am. I have done all my Christmas shopping, pulled the company Christmas party off without a hitch - attending the husbands Christmas party tomorrow.
I have fallen in love with a new nail polish that I will be wearing through out the holiday season. It is Night Before by Rimmel London. It is a LOVELY shiny non sparkly purple. It almost looks black here - but it is beautiful - dries super fast and has great staying power. This is not a promotion in any way lol. I just happened upon it in the drug store and fell in love!

I have been looking for new makeup lately. Anyone have any suggestions? I ordered a sample foundation kit from http://www.everydayminerals.com/. Has anyone ever tried that? I'm not a huge fan of liquid makeup, so I thought I would give mineral makeup a try.
I used to work for Clinique, and have always used their 3-step, and absolutely LOVE it... I just need some good makeup to go on top. I am also trying to find some eye shadow and eye liner with some staying power - I have really oily lids. Any suggestions are very welcome.
Do you have any plans for the holidays?

I haven't tried Everyday Minerals but I do LOVE to use Bare Minerals/Escentuals. I'll never go back to the cheap or expensive brands you just go to the store for. I'd rather just not wear makeup if that's the case. I hope you enjoy your new makeup and now I have to run to the store for that polish! ;o)
ReplyDeleteI love mineral makeup! All the brands are a little different, so have fun finding the right one for you! As far as eye makeup, I won't wear anything but MAC. They have some stuff in a pot that's kind of like a primer... I never go without it. And their eyeliners are the bomb!
ReplyDeleteIf you love nail polish, check out the Daily Nail on here, she is hilarious. Paints her nails a different crazy way every single day and posts pics. AND tells you what she used for products.
ReplyDeleteAs for make-up, I swear by Mary Kay everything ;-) And they are all mineral now too. I was a Make-up artist for years before I started with the MK stuff (skeptically) and it actually will stay on for days if I let it.
I loveeee rimmel polisjh! I chose 'it over OPI every time :) Its cheaper, and cos the range is small theyre always updating with "in" shades, unlike OPI where theres like 30 different shades of pink!! Thats so cool you worked for Clinique, got anything bad to say about the SuperFit foundation? Im using it and dont want it to be like clogging my pores! x
