Ok, I don't know if you noticed from previous posts, I am not a Sci-Fi kinda girl. Star Wars, Star Trek - who can tell the difference. Lord of the Rings - total snoozer. Give me a chick flick any day and I'm a happy girl.
Last night my husband and I went to Avatar. It's 3D which is kinda cool. I always feel a bit sick when I go to 3D movies - stuff popping out at you - you kinda feel like you're moving. But after about 10 minutes I don't even notice and can settle in and enjoy the movie.
When the movie started, my thoughts were: "Lame", "How long is this movie", "Oh God, I'm so uncomfortable", "Why does this guy keep jabbing me", "It's so hot in here", "Why is the theatre so packed?"
Then it started to get into the movie - and wow. It was freakin awesome! I seriously loved it. I would honestly go and see it again - no problem. I highly recommend it to EVERYONE!!! Go see it!! And... don't mess with Mother Nature :D

I'm with you! I felt the same way and a few minutes into it I was just lost in all of it. So great!
