The Bear Hat

The bear hat. I spent many a night trying to get this hat right.




This was my first bear hat:


The ears look too pointy and not great at all. The colour is bland, the nose is just... no words. I could not accept the hat this way - so I tried to fix it up with some rounded crochet ears and nose - and came up with this:

This one has a better nose, and a tiny bit better ears, but still... I do not like. So I decided to just crochet the entire thing, and came up with this:



This one I love. The ears are nice - the dark brown and white look really good together - the nose is cute. I love it.
